    So what happened to using Elbrus processors? Intel has so many back doors and exploits, it isn’t even funny anymore. There needs to be a strict rule — no US processors or operating system. So in this case, they need to make it clear — only Elbrus or Baikal MIPS processor. Baikal 8 seems to offer a lot and is already having a newer variant tested with DDR4 memory. So why not go with that?

    This is not a Russian product by any means. This is essentially a foreign components slapped together and called a laptop of Russian origin. This is actually an insult to Russian production and someone should slap the Ministry of Industry and Trade by firing some individuals for corruption. Laptops are not workstations nor are they really supposed to be. In this case, for every day government use, it should be Elbrus processors.
